Description
Since our inception on a commercial scale in 2008 we have evolved as a brewery immeasurably.
The Brewery has moved up several gears in the past 12 months & is now growing at an alarming rate!

We as a team have grown with the brewery. Started in 2008 with Directors James Farran, Andy Baker & Meyrick Kirk the brewery now has a fulltime drayman, a head brewer, a managing director & soon to be further additions to the team.

We are a brewery with an extreme passion & a strong identity, our beers are unapologetically flavour forward in nature, hop & malt laden beers that challenge today's modern beer lover. Beers with heart, soul & raging personality.

In the coming years we plan to continue to grow by fervently pushing the boundaries of what is possible when brewing beer, to excite you the deserving beer connoisseur who should settle for nothing less than than beers that excite & ensare your senses. We invest heavily in our beers with LOTS of the very best ingredients, why settle for beers that don't?

Keg at CPK, London. Pours hazy, orange-gold with a very, very sturdy white foam head. Subtle nose with some dough, bubblegum, light toast. Medium sweet flavor, lots of lively and dusty yeast, dough, very light citrus, dough. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty perfect texture and condition. Light to medium sweet on the finish with more yeast, dough and light bubblegum, mild grassy bitterness, faint dry citrus. Wow. This is excellent. Maybe the best British-made Belgian-style beer I’ve had. Fantastic.

Light golden amber, clear, frothy head, some lacing
Aroma - soft citrus fruits, some light sponge cake mix (!)
Taste - herbal hops, spicy zingy peppery hops, cake mix with a touch of vanilla, unusual flavour
Palate - soft carb, thin body. Finish as main flavour, lingering bitter (as usual for SWB), bitter zest. Very dry, bit too bitter on the finish
Overall - a half is enough, too dry

(Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London, 18 April 2012) Dark brown colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dried fruit, dark bread, chocolate and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit, raisins, prunes and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Rather thin body, with a touch of sweetness. The low alcohol level and the great taste makes this extremely drinkable. One of the best milds I’ve tried. Very nice.
