As expressed by our crossroads logo, Keep all lines open and flowing is a mantra for making and serving good beer — a reflection of our commitment to sharing and exploring possibilities.
Cruz Blanca makes beers that open people up to new flavors, new ideas, and new experiences. From endlessly refreshing Mexican lagers and sunny IPAs that transport us to warmer places, to the less-travelled roads of barrel-aged and wild fermentation ales, there’s always a journey in the beer that keeps us curious about what’s next.
We’re all at the same long table, and there’s always room for one more. Let’s keep all lines open and flowing.

Very pale yellow colour with light haze and thin soapy head. Has something of candied lemon peel. A bit too sweet overall.

355ml can from a local Home Bargains, BB 4th May 2024. Drank at home on 1st September 2023. Slight haze in the golden body, short lived white head. Semi-sweet feel to this one, more malty than hoppy, it's OK for a Mexican throwing lager!

[12oz can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a loose white head; grainy aroma; sweet corn grain taste; and a strong grassy bitterness leading to a sour finish. Okay if Mexican lagers are your thing.

Can from Home Bargains. It pours hazy yellow - gold with a decent white head. The aroma is ripe tropical fruits, pineapple chunks, zesty, tangy grapefruit, bitter orange, tinned fruit cocktail and slightly oxidised notes. The taste is fairly dry/crisp initially, bitter - sweet character, some green vibes, damp herbal, floury bread, tinned fruit cocktail, tropical vibes, pineapple, twist of citrus and some mild alcohol presence with a dry, prickly finish. Average body and carbonation. Not the freshest I hazard to guess, but it drinks fine. Ok.

Can from Home Bargains, Bridge of Don. It pours ever so slightly hazy golden - yellow with a medium, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, cornbread, cheap doughy white bread, sponge, custard cream biscuits, touch grassy and coriander. The taste is initially crispy, dry, snappy, fairly sweet, hearty bready malt base, custard cream biscuits, doughy vibes and grassy/herbal notes with a dryish finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent Mexican style lager. Drinks pretty well.

Can from Home Bargains, Rochdale. Golden with a thin head. Apart from the subtle differences in yeast used as the can advertises, there's little to say about this standard lager.

Can from Home Bargains, Byfleet. Aroma has sherbert stone fruit. Underlying porridge, before candy sugarcomes through. Hazy lightish orange. Foamy translucent white head. Initial tangy stone fruit. A chalky porridge underlying element. Then develops a sugary load. Light..Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice but bland.

355ml can from Home Bargains. Pours a misty pale gold, loose ring of bubbles circling the top. Aroma of gently musty lager malt sweetness. Taste continues along these lines, expected a thinner lighter lager profile but it has a nice sweetness to it, medium bodied. Not too bad at all.
