375 ml bottle. Nose is vanilla, nuts, caramel, and some pit fruitiness. Clear rusty red with a small beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet, light bourbon and vanilla along with some light alcohol warmth. Interesting and fun pretty tasty.

10 ounce at the brewery - turbid gold with a soapy lace - nose of orange, coriander, pepper - creamy texture - flavor is medium dry and mildly tart, with a moderate peppery spiciness in the finish - soft wheat and mild background citric sweetness - mildly bitter - well-balanced and refreshing.

10 ounce at the brewery - black pour - was looking forward to this since the worldwide is quite good - this one is a bit harsh - sharply bitter espresso/roast and slightly alcohol burn - the bitterness lingers on the palate and makes the other qualities harder to enjoy (like chocolate, dark fruit, smoke) - it’s not unenjoyable, but lacks balance.

Draft at Hudson Hill - I usually come here for cocktails, but when I saw they had this, I had to try it - really close to sublime, this - turbid gold with a thick, lasting head - wonderfully froth texture - dry, dusty funk that is complimented well but the moderate oak presence - rustic, mildly tropical - Brett is complex, but not intense - gentle, subtle complexity - lovely beer.

Tap at Bruery, Placentia. Colour is clear red with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Berries, blue berries, red berries, blueberries and some sourness. Pretty good light sour with nice drinkability.

Draft 10 oz pour at Beer Junction. A cranberry juice color pour with no head. A huge tart mixed Berry aroma. Flavor is a juicy sour blueberry and blackberry, with a dry, oak transition. Some red wine notes throughout, though possibly a coincidence. Grain fruit and tart constant finish. Very nice beer here.

Call to Arms Tennyson Kolsch paired with banh mi tacos at BruFrou. It was clear gold with a bready aroma while the taste crisp malts and bitter hops plus a little residual sweetness. A bang on kolsch which after the first two brews I had at the fest was a relief to drink.

10 ounce at the brewery - clear copper with a soapy head - nicely balanced take on the style - creamy texture, soft carbonation - flavor is initially sweet, with light honey - becomes floral and moderately bitter through the middle - finish brings a slight acidity and tartness, white grape - a slight returning sweetness and lingering spiciness - decently executed.

10 ounce at the brewery - hazy straw color - well-executed infusion here - soft, medium dry malt character - yeast character is still prominent and not overpowered by the adjuncts - pepper phenols are gently complimented by the thyme and the lemon just adds a light tang in the finish - malt character is just a tiny bit rough in the finish, but pretty dang good otherwise.
