Draft at Tapp’d in Bethesda. Poured a clear dark amber/orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was bready, lots of sweet malt notes with some light earthy, herbal notes. Flavor was light spicy notes, caramel, lemon notes.

Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, spice and wheat. Light-bodied with flavors of zesty orange, spice, wheat and slight grassy hops. The finish is wheaty with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Aroma of funky yeast, fruit and oak. Light to medium body with flavors of vinous oak, slightly funky yeast, apple and doughy malt. The finish is oaky with a white wine and yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Small patches of lacing on the glass. Chocolate, coffee and malt aroma. Full-bodied with a roasty espresso and malt character, with some cocoa and vanilla in the background. The finish is sweet with a vanilla mocha aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Dark brown pour with some ruby around the edges, and a thin light beige head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Sticky sparse strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of tart pineapple, vinous oak, funky yeast and malt. The finish is moderately tart with a pineapple and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
