Bottle. I like lambics, and I enjoyed this beer. It's red with a big pink head, has a string aroma of raspberries, and a very fruity taste that's slightly sour. Highly carbonated for a very big head.

Amber color. Prickly acetic nose in the beginning; turns to be sweeter and woodier. Quite sweet body, with a wood note. Not impressive, but pleasant sweet drink.

On Tap. Dark red. Strong raspberry aroma. Flavor is of raspberry and sweet, but the finish is a little sour. The first lambic I really liked.

Absolutely superb cardinal-red beer with deep-cyclamen head, slowly collapsing. "Pure" blackcurrant nose, like cassis-sherbet or cassis-icecream. Slightly sweet nose. Again, cassis-ice like taste, but with a good sweet-sour balance, nearly tart. Taste is less aritificial, candisweet-like than the nose. Palate remains too sweet, though. Virtually no indication of lambic, the acidity is purely fruity in character, like citric acid. Tart, mouthfeel not light. Dry-out effect on the teeth and gums. This is a perfect soft drink for somewhat larger children. IMO, it's not beer, and doesn't deserve the name lambic.

(Fairly aged sample) Orange colour, hazy. Serious white head, going down fast. Nose of "horseblanket", raspberry - edge of natural-artificial. Fairly acid taste - lactic and acetic. Fruity. Ageing has completely got ridden of the syrupy symptoms. Result: magnificent flavour - just the negative taint of artificial sweetener. Very good natural carbonation. Young, I'm afraid this would be horrible. This 20-year (estimated) old beer has become superb. More proof all this bludgeoning of the natural flavours are nothing more than a "postponement of execution".

The beer is. . .red? Wow they werent kidding about the cherries. It smells like sweet cherries, which is good but very sharp and sweet. Let’s get this over with. Cloying, sickeningly cherry flavored. DID NOT FINISH. wow. way too sweet cherry flavor. Has lindemans heard of the word SUBTLE? The worst crime was that behind the huge overpowering cherry flavor, was a wonderful sour yeasty lambic taste that tried to peek through but was crushed in a bloody violent cherry sweetness. I suppose it goes over better with the right food, but come on, does it need this much cherry??? no. Maybe it needs to be cellared for about 20 years. . .

Bottled. This amber-coloured beer with white head has all the typical characteristics of the original Gueuzes. The sour-sweet, rotten aroma. And in contrast (and let's all be happy about it and have a great party) of the other Lindemans beers this has a very good flavour (not as sweet as Kriek Lindemans), it's sour and sweet. It is very enjoyable when you're really thursty. The aftertaste is also sour.

Pale old gold with, indeed, peachy shine, clear. Slim white head, ever so slight pinkish. Faint peach-jam odour, sugary. Taste is peach jelly dissolved in a bit of very watery and very sugared lemon squash. Palate is somewhat better as the rest. There is even some lactic acid detectable. Shocking! This is a joke. In very bad taste - metaphorically; and in very little taste, literally. Yet it sells like the proverbial hot muffins, which proves again the world wants to be cheated. At 2.5 Alcohol(?)BloodyVolume(?).

2024-12-13, corked 375ml bottle, vintage 2018, bb 29 AUG 2024, 6% ABV, 7-5-7-3-15=37
Mild aroma: funk, plastic. Bone dry, moderately sour; there are some funky elements, but overall the body is lacking, and so the depth of flavours.

The aroma is nice, funky; but, having had 3 bottles from this batch at different times, the flavour and mouthfeel are not the top, it tends to get a bit oily in the finish.

Strong funky aroma, nothing out of place. Bone dry, with sharp acidity, some funk, strong elements of calamansi and yuzu.

Hazy golden colour. It has nice funky Lambic elements, but also some egg smell (raw egg, not sulfur). Bone dry, with sharp acidity, good Lambic character, then lemon peel, a bit weak in the finish.
It's not very elegant, but it's bold.
2016-07-10, corked bottle, batch BG010GC, 7-4-8-4-17=40
The bottle is very lively, it opens with a pop; the beer pours in the glass with a huge compact head, leaving behind a golden-copper hazy liquid. The aroma is a bit too much on the cork side, but it has interesting cellar smell too. Some lemon. Nice degree of acidity, although the mouthfeel is very soft, almost sweet; the character is ther, there's the funky celllar, and also a strong lemon side.
Accessible, excellent.

Blond color; fine, big perlage. Tart aroma, wood, cork, magnesia. Tarty, a bit astringent, less dry than others, lemon peel. Not enough character, just drinkable.

Bottled. Cloudy orange color, short head. Aroma is oak, tart gueuze, apple. Taste is sour gueuze, bit more yeasty i guess. Medium lasting palate, i've tasted better in gueuzes. Decent gueuze, but not special.
