On tap at Luppolo, pours a hazy dark orange with a medium white head. Aroma is very dry, with quite a lot of bitterness and lots of dry bread crusts. Flavour is very dry, with lots of dry bread crusts, toasted bread, and a lingering bitterness. Dry, bready and bitter finish. Pleasant for what it is.

On tap at Luppolo, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has some unfermented wort, moderate bitterness, and crunchy herbal notes — not getting any NZ hops. Flavour is dry and somewhat soapy, with moderate bitterness without any real hop flavour, and a crunchy, herbal finish. Not digging the hops here, and I find little else to appreciate. Not bad but not one of Luppolo’s better lagers.

On tap at Luppolo. Pours murky ruddy orange with a white head. Biscuity malts and some dry grass on the nose. Flavour has dry, astringent grass and biscuit malts. Clean, but too bitter; not terribly pleasant.

Golden colour, thick foam. Herbaceous hop nose. On the palate, good pilsner. Rich bitterness. Nice biscuity malt base. Laurel leaf, grass, lemon, sage, some really good subtle elements here.

Kind of a dull brownish-amber. Lots of foam, because I got the šnyt pour. Caramelly, lightly toasty aroma. Similar palate, lowish bitterness, off-dry finish. It’s okay but I prefer if this style is sweeter and more complex.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin, fizzy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Aroma of grainy wheat, lime, white pepper and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat, lemon, lime, saline and floral hops in a dry, tart Lacto finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not getting any kelp per se, but it's refreshing and crushable.

Quite pale, bright. Thin pale lager. Nice smoke to it, and the pale lager part is clean enougb but it’s quite light…probably this is the best this concept can be but it’s not the greatest conceptp. Needs more malt to support the smoke.
