Coastal IPA has an amber colour, some sweet malts. Hops aren’t super bright. It’s ok, better than it was under previous ownership

650ml bottle at Matt’s. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma and taste are grassy and flowery hops. Piney bitterness aftertaste. Not bad.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy amber color. Resiny and metallic, perfumy, some vegetables in the aroma, some citrus peel in the flavor; strong bitterness.
Not bad, but it’s not very well executed.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral hops, some perfume, and light vegetal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of perfumey, floral hops, vegetal notes, and some herbal qualities. Very perfumey and herbal. Not disastrous, but it's all over the place and uncoordinated. Not good.

Draft - High alcohols and fruity notes. Clear copper with almost no head. Lots of wood and caramel with some more high alcohols. A bit everywhere and not pleasant.

Draft - Sweet and fruity dirty yeasty Belgian notes. Clearish gold with a decent white head. Lots of pineapple esters and a nice yeasty finish. Starts bad and ends well.

Draft - Medicinal and a touch of acetone. Cloudy brownish. Woody and a touch of bitterness and a touch of odd nail polish.

Draft - Sweet pear juice. Hazy gold with no head. Pear, sweet and a touch of salt and lemon. I get the tequila like notes but not great as a Gose.

On tap at Old Abbey, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of funk, a little fart, and lightly restrained hops. Flavour is fruity, funky and hoppy, with notes of funk, lots of fruitiness, and dry hoppiness. Weirdly funky but it works.
