Canette 473ml. Couleur jaune-orangée terne opaque, mousse blanc cassé aérée. Arôme de malt, mangue mûre qui disparait pour laisser place à de la pâte à pain (apportée par le levure Kveik?). Goût de mangue, malt, levure, pain, amertume moyenne, houblon fruité. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.

Olfactif à forte teneur en agrumes, surtout orange et mandarine, mais aussi légèrement citronné avec petits accents de pamplemousse rose qui accompagnent une impression sauvage et fermière avec une légère touche herbacée. Le liquide doré / orangé et brouillé, se couronne d’une toute petite mousse qui s’attarde quand même assez longtemps. Le côté sauvage et boisé domine l’entrée de bouche en s’accompagnant d’un fruité d’agrumes à la touche mandarine et pamplemousse. Un léger coté granuleux de céréales se combine à une texture bien soyeuse produite par l’avoine pour augmenter le fond fermier de cette bière. L’amertume est très douce et la finale moyennement sèche. Produit original, bien équilibré avec un judicieux mélange levure, houblons et céréales.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color stout with nice large brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet black chocolate notes with some dominant bourbon and oak notes with light vanilla notes also perceptible. Taste is a great mix of sweet black chocolate notes with some dominant bourbon notes, some vanilla and oak notes also perceptible with some residual sugar notes. Body is full with oily texture and good carbonation. Solid IS with maybe a tad more residual sugar then I was expecting.

Bottle: Poured a golden/orangey bright color ale with a fizzy head with limited retention and no lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some funky ester notes with some weird grape notes. Taste is a mix of tart notes with some funky ester, more acidity then expected with weird grapes notes that more or less works with the other flavours. Body is about average with low carbonation. Disappointed by this one – definite lack of balance and integration between the flavours.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy blonde color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral citrusy notes with some leafy hops notes is pleasant. Taste is a nice mix of leafy hops with nice citrusy flora undertones and a dry finish with little residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Solid IPA but not sure it is totally in-line with the typical NEIPA out there.
