Established in 2017
Founded by partners in life and work, Charles Porter and Brenda Crow, Little Beast is a family brewery with a passion for making great beer and sharing it with others.
We craft wild, wood-aged and blended beer naturally with diverse cultures, including Saccharomyces, Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus, and wild flora. By harnessing the little beasts that ferment our beer, we capture their untamed beauty and produce farmhouse beers that are diverse in flavor and rare in character.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a cloudy vibrant bright amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out a fair bit of pomegranate juice, gentle tartness, and lacto (not in the yogurty sense). Flavour is bright, tart and juicy, with a real nice yeast expression from the lacto (no yogurty BS), intense pomegranate juice, and gentle tartness. Tart, juicy, fruity and with a nice yeast profile. Excellent.

16oz can from Tavour. Pale, clear golden with an instant high, airy head. Grainy, malty, bready aroma with some light fruity notes. Taste is spot on, sweet malty, grainy flavors, white bread and a kiss of hops. This was a real delight.

On tap at Little Beast, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is rather estery, with some candi sugar and Belgian yeast. Flavour is rather estery, with light candi sugar, Belgian yeast, and biscuity notes. Not exactly true to style — on the estery side. It's alright.

On tap at Loyal Legion, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out leather, rustic saison yeast, and earthiness. Flavour is full of earthiness, leather and some rustic saison yeast. Earthy and leathery finish. Good stuff.
Nice biscuity crispy, hop bitter and spice hinted finish that lingers in a great way.
