Description

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots, honey, orange and slightly floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange, apricots, honey, a touch of yeast and floral hops in a fairly dry finish. Medium body. Tasty and quite decent, but hardly exciting.

Draught at Delirium Reserve Akasaka. Lovely crimson and brown with a tall, super-fine head. Tart, acid nose, cherry, yogurt, light vinegar. Sweet-and-sour flavor, cherry, yogurt, vinegar. Ok sour edge, could be more. Clean, refreshing, not too sweet. Very drinkable and tasty.

Bottle: Almost clear, golden to deep golden, stable and lacy off-white head, nearly moderate sweetish grainy-orangey nose, bisquits detectable; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, not very full bodied; slightly lingering fruity-bisquity finish, some balancing bitterness in the aftertaste. Well drinkable, but all in all very tame.....

Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier, Switzerland
Amber color, hazy, with fine perlage and generous, persistent, creamy head. The aroma is quite spicy, with malt and lightly fruity. The mouthfeel is very smooth; spicy malt flavor, with some residual sweetness. The final is lightly metallic; it’s balanced and it has a correct bitterness. Pleasant Belgian Ale.
