Description

Excellent head, bright gold colour with furious carbonation. Huge hops bomb on the nose, nothing but, yet very spicy and aromatic, full flavoured. The taste is much the same, with a very big and complex hops flavour that has some small malt hints at the end. Mild finish. Nice and floral, but not what I would call a traditional amber.

Bottle. Golden, low head. Light dusty, yeasty fruit aroma (clementine). Medium body, clementine base, a bit dry sweetness, somewhat one-dimensional. Chewy body. Pleasant, not super exiting.

Bottle from Bootlegger. Pours amber with a huge, frothy beige head. Aroma is malty and yeasty. Near medium body with mild carbonation. There’s a mild sour note, and there’s a respectable amount of bitter. Decent ale.

Bottle, 9% as Queue de Charrue Tripel. Hazy golden colour. Stable bubble white head. The flavour is grainy with some yeasty notes. Not the good or interesting kind of yeast, although it is slightly spicy. Not very complex. Some alcohol is all I get in the finish. This might as well have been a canned supermarket beer.

Bottle @ KBF in Geel. Reddish brown beer. Aroma of cherries, red wine, a bit tart. Flavour is sweet-sour, cherries, a bit malts. Just a bit too sweet for me. Not much carbonation.
