Bottle shared at Beer Temple. Pours hazy orange with loads of floaters. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, citrus and weeds. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate bitter with a mineral palate. Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation.

250 ml. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy golden, big quickly fading egg-white head. Mellow sweetish smoked wheat nose mixed with big sweet gelatin candy, sweet candy, wheat, plastic, a combination that doesn’t make any sense to me. Taste is very odd mixture that doesn’t work for me, like gummy bears, sweet candy with smoked plastic, lingering plastic, faint almost vaguely peat smoked wheat, lingering odd smoked plastic aftertaste mixed with the heavy gelatin candy sweetness, soda, odd mix, lingering plastic finish that reminds me of bitter plastic, peach, plastic wheat,… Very odd mix flavors that really don’t jell for me,… Overly carbonated. Doesn’t work for me, I had higher hopes.

Big white head. Clear yellow body with strong carbonation. Bready buttery smoky aroma with fruity dusty notes. Well, that’s certainly unique. Sweetish strawy smoky bready taste with banana notes. Mid-to-light body. Soft, mild, fluffy mouthfeel. Sweetish fruity mealy banana aftertaste with herbal earthy notes. An excellent beer. Really different, vivid, easy-drinking, and full of flavour. A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, nice sweet fruity malt with light banana and cloves, ginger, cardamom, citrus and flowers. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light cloves, thyme, flowers, very herbaceous, nice and smooth. On tap at Station HO.st.

A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice sweet fruity malt with grapeskins, Brett notes, light cork, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light acidity, light grapeskins, musty character, very nice. On tap at Station HO.st.

Huge offwhite head lasts forever. Clear coppery body with some floaties and boiling carbonation. Vague mealy aromas are all that make it through the thick head. Dry-sweet herbal earthy spicy taste with wooden notes. Mid-to-thin body. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish fruity spicy aftertaste with mealy wooden notes. Nice, drinkable, understated, but spoiled by the overcarbonation. Probably the original beer was pretty good. (0.75l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)
