On tap @ La Cervrtica. A really deep dark brown one this, near black with a good looking really lacing light brown top. The nose has lots of sweet chocolate and cocoa notes. Well hopped also, quite fruity. Roasted as well. A ton of salty licorice in the taste here, and the hops truly shines. Feels almost cloudy in the mouth and the carbonation is also somewhat cloudy and growing but small bubbled. Some sweet milky coffee is also detected here. Dark dried fruit. So fresh! This I could drink lots and lots of. 03.08.2014

12oz pour at La Resistencia in Barcelona. Pours a murky caramel amber with some thin white head. The smaller parts of the nose are bread crust, cinnamon and caramel but the predominant aroma is Folgers coffee grounds. Mild, approachable coffee. Flavor has a similar balance, coffee grounds, brown sugar, dark bread crust, malt, some bread crumb too. Clean, mild coffee finish. Good take on a mild.
