From the open bottle: fuselly apple aroma. Small white head. Hazy coppery body with small floaties. Mealy apple and alcohol aroma with fruity solvent notes. Sweet peppery pear taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, slightly hot mouthfeel. Dryish herbal coriander aftertaste with alcoholic dried fruit notes. It’s not bad, but there is something wrong with the fermentation, giving alcoholic, fuselly notes. Apart from that it’s a pretty good beer. (0.33l bottle, from somewhere in Barcelona.)

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige head. Sweaty, resinous, hoppy aroma, initially cautious fruity hints of bramble gain weight with time and crowd into the foreground, overtones of pine needles. Taste is bitter herbal hoppy and bitter roasty dark malty, fruity hints of dark berries, bramble, cheesy notes of sweat / sweaty notes of cheese spoil the pleasure substantially.

Bottle. Pale yellow. Decent head. Aroma and taste: tropical and citrus fruits. Nice carbonation. Refreshing, sparkling, sessionable. Enjoyable.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Slightly spicy and herbal aroma with weak, citrusy hoppy overtones, a touch of orange slices and cinnamon powder, watercress. Taste is dry, herbal, spicy, leafy, a touch of tobacco, green tea; slightly crumbly mouthfeel.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown to black with a huge tan head. Aroma is chocolate malty and caramelish. Toasted malty, dry and toasted malty. Bitter, roasted, light metallic. Bitter and roasted dark malty finish.

Draft at La Mes Petita, RBESG 2016. Very hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, light green hops. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Above light bodied with soft carbonation. [10-07-2016]
