Bottle shared in Hackney - picked up via trade, thanks to Raul. Pours mostly clear amber-gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds bread, caramel, crackers, ripening orange, grains. Medium sweet flavour with mild husky bitterness, more ripening citrus fruits, melon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, with sugary bread, more grains, ripe oranges, bitter hay, wheat. Enjoyable gear.

thin head, slightly hazy, the nose is amazing of horse blanket, muscat, hay, wood, very tart, band aid in the nose. It’s outstanding. Medium body, light medium, body, the grapes show up and work well. So funky, oak plays in the background. Everything is perfectly integrated. Every sip I just want to say fuck me. It’s not like a cantillon but neither does it need to compared too. Very hazy dusty finish. World class.

Bottle. Almost clear orange, not much carbonation. Nice light tart nose, light fresh pickles. Taste has light acidity, dry and sour fruitiness. Some light salted pickles, fresh cucumber which blends really well with white grapes that it also has. This feels like a real Lambic and the first authentic-feeling one I have had in Japan. Excellent. Light tart acidity in the finish. Dry.

Bottle shared thanks to jinroh. Hazy light brown with off white head. Sweet malts, light grapes, caramel, quite some brown bread, soft rye, raisins, quite some yeast. A hint of vegetables and cleaning products on the nose but not in the taste. Medium sweet, bitter and bodied. Quite interesting though also a bit funky and weird.

Somewhat pale Golden color. Very delicate light sour nose with some flower notes. The mouth is all over the place, medium body, not as sour as expected. Oak and a bit stale taste, but not bad. Just a bit all over the place, but interesting.

light golden color. Slightly sour and a touch sweet nose with lot of oak and horseblanket. Slightly sweet but overall fairly sour mouth that very much reminded me of Boon Oude Gueuze Black lable in recent years which I think has gone done a lot, though still a respectable beer. Lots of oak. Still a very good start to make an authentic lambic

hazy light golden color. Frothy white head. Big perfumy hoppy nose. Almost like a hoppy wit beer. The Belgian yeast shines. Very light dry tons of Belgian yeast with modest aggressive bitterness and fruity hop notes. Super quaffable. Phenolic in mid palate. Wow. This is one best, if not best, Belgian IPAs I’ve had and I don’t like this style.
