Can from One Stop. Deep golden color, clear, with a tall, fine head. Rich malty nose, white bread and biscuits, orange and stone fruit. Lovely nose with no toast or caramel. Rich and sweet.. quite bready and also estery. Light to medium bitterness. Very nice modern style festbier.

Nice pint, like Jack’s Abby taking a stab at classic Sam Adams and coming up with its maltier, more bitter cousin. Makes for a good beer, if missing the subtleties of Boston Lager. Lots of caramel, toast, and a firm floral bitterness. Tasty.

Cask at GBBF 25. Aroma is malty and tangy sour. Hazy-opaque amber. Frothy foamy translucent white head soon disappears. Flavourwise it has some spice. Some caramel. A hint of citrus. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Slips down but then almost forgot what I'd been drinking.
