Hazy yellow pour, big white head. Aroma is very tart, lots of malted wheat, and some solid lemon, and zest. Mouth feel is thin, carb is very soft. There is an odd pickle nice flavour in the end, with a tart, zesty finish with more wheat and a touch of lactic acidity, and sourness.

Incredibly bright, and yes..... Zesty! Great citrus aromas, light herbs, light pepperiness. Incredibly refreshing, pithy bitterness but still zesty, and bright and citrusy. Wow! Great stuff.

Dark brown pour, large beige head. Loads of dark fruit, and bready malts, with some really nice citrus, but some light toffee too. Dark bread, and yeast, great mouth feel, and good carb. Finish is slightly funky with a dry dubbel like mineral finish. Light bitterness, subtle fruit, with some solid grassy hops, and light funk.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden pour, mwith orange hues and a big off white head. Loads of rocky, pillowy lacing. A beautiful aroma of tropical fruit, lemon zest, especially mango, and apricot, with some light yeast, rounded out by some subtle farmhouse funkiness. Perfect body, and carb. Finish is very fruity, loads of dried grasses and horse blanket. Very complex beer, but i think even a novice would enjoy it. Incredibly well done, a joy to drink.

One of the best balanced black ipas ive ever had. In my opinion balance is incredibly important to this style. Loads of roasty goodness with medium to high bitterness from the copious amounts of pine resin hops. Excellent stuff worthy of being in the top 50.

Bottle. Hazy light brown pour, with a medium beige head. Quite fruit aroma, slight tartness, with some good bitter style malts. Yeasty, and bready with light toffee, and caramel. The hops are not to style from what im tasting they are quite a bit fruitier, and more citric. Overall a nice beer, and an interesting take on the style.

Wet hay, green sticky hop cones.... Quite a but of funk. Quite a bit funkier, but less fruitier than the regular Farmhouse. High bitterness and alot of funk and subtle lactose in the finish. Soft tropical fruit, lots of wet funk grasses.

Tart, with alot of acidity, and citrus zest. Grassy, and dry, with some herbal hop notes. Great mouth feel, lively carb. Crisp, dry finish, with alot of citrus and a typical vinous new Zealand hop quality. Great stuff.

Cloudy Copper, thick, sticky, off white head. Huge soapy, pine resin hop Aroma. Loads of caramel, biscuity malts. Thick, viscous, oily mouth feel, and a soft carb. Huge soapy hops, hints of candied citrus zest, and loads of bready caramel, and slightly nutty malts. This is an old school huge, brash, in your face American Barley wine. Love it.
