Bottle: Poured a dark brown color ale with a large dark foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with light dry fruits notes with some woody notes of vanilla and bourbon is quite enjoyable. Taste is a mix of roasted malt notes with some dry figs and raisins notes, some vanilla, woody and bourbon notes. Body is pretty full with good carbonation and with light warming alcohol notes. Solid nightcap beer and something that should be brewed on a more regular basis.

Bottle: Poured a dark hazy brown color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some grain/cereal notes and light residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt with some cereal notes, some hazelnut and a semi-dry finish. Body is pretty full for style with good level of carbonation. Enjoyable imperial hazel brown ale with just enough balance to keep drinkability at a proper level.

Can from Chez Ben. Opaque dark mahogany with a small dark khaki head that fades to a sheet leaving tight lace. Nose is milk chocolate, coffee, molasses, vanilla, roast nuts. Medium milk chocolate and molasses sweetness with a light+ coffee bitterness. Mouth is full and creamy with soft carbonation an a dry finish. Tasty. 9-/4//8/4+/16
