Sampled on tap at L'Am�re � Boire, pours a clear copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma is quite herbal and fungal, with dank earth, herbal hops and bready malts. Flavour is dominated by dank white bread, slight herbal and spice notes, but barely noticeable. Mouthfeel is fairly meaty for a 3.6% blond lager. Solid session beer.

On tap at L'Am�re � Boire, pours a cloudy rusted brownish red with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted nuts, leather, and dry caramel upfront, with some very mild dark fruit and spice presence. Flavour is refreshingly fruity, with banana especially, cut down by toasted nuts, dry caramel malts and some faint spiciness. Medium-bodied, with good flavour depth and well-balanced complexity. Very enjoyable.

Glass at L'Am�re � Boire, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Nose is full of crisp grassy hops and some mild bready malts, smells very authentic. Flavour burst of dry grassy hop bite, tasting very authentic to a real Czech pilsner, with lots of depth to the grassy hop bite, with only a slight counterbalance to bready, slightly sweet crisp malts. An awesome thirst-quenching pilsner, perfect for a hot afternoon.

Dégustée en fût sur place sous le nom « Pale Ale Originale ». De couleur ambrée et légèrement voilée. Nez de houblon floral et légèrement herbeux, de grains de céréales, léger de fruits (agrumes) et de pain avec des petites notes de caramel. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-bas et une texture aux notes crémeuses. Léger goût fruité (agrumes, faibles traces d’abricots) accompagné d’un léger goût de céréales lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un moyen-léger goût de pain et des petites notes de caramel. Parallèlement, l’on retrouve une moyenne-légère amertume de houblon floral et légèrement herbeux jusqu’en finale. Post-goût moyen, moyen-léger amer de houblon herbeux et floral avec des notes fruitées (zest d’agrumes). (printemps 2007)

Dégustée en fût sur place. De couleur cuivrée et légèrement voilée. Nez fruité (petits fruits sucrés, notes d’agrumes), malté de caramel doux avec des notes de pain, de céréales et de houblon herbeux. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture légèrement crémeuse et aux notes sirupeuses. Léger goût de levures fruitées (léger de petits fruits et d’agrumes sucrées) accompagné de notes de céréales fraîches lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel doux et des notes de pain puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon herbeux. Post-goût moyen, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux avec un léger goût fruité. (printemps 2007)

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown to black with no lasting head. Aroma is roasted malty and light breadish. Dark malty, caramelish and breadish flavoured. Bitter, dark malty and roasted. Dark malty and lingering roasted, light bitter, into the finish.

From cask at the brewpub. Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight breadish. Bitter and toasted malty, crisp hoppy. Ends dry and bitter.
