sweet stout eh? This tasted very much like a St-Ambroise clone, but not as good. Very bitter with the finish, and VERY roasty in the aroma. Some slight cocoa notes with some light coffee also. Nothing sweet about this. Its not bad, but not great, just a run of the mill stout.

On tap at the brewpub during Le Mondiale week.
Don’t see this one on tap very often!
Big aroma of roasted malts, but they were quite sweet, with touches of soy. Some lacticness in the flavor was brought on by more sweet roasty malts, touches of coffee in the finish, medium dry bitter finish, quite nice!

bottle from the brewpub, i asked for it on tap cause it was on the wall menu but i was told it was only available in bottle. The menu stated it was 8%.
A sweet matly aroma, with a touch of hops. Some nice ripe fruit come out in the aroma, like figs, and maybe some plums. The flavour is very much an english style barley wine. Sweet malt, and english hops dominate this beer, a nice sipper.

nice amber color, amazing nose of malt, and a touch of hops. the aroma is intoxicating, such wicked caramel malt, wow, i cant get my nose out of this beer. The flavour is so nice. Similar to a good can of pilsner urquell, but more intense, and more flavourful, amazing lager!
