Aroma of sweet barley and syrup. Has a good solid dark brown head and black body. Flavour is chocolatey notes and then sweet molasses, all without finesse. Soft on the mouth. Just okay for this style.

Aroma is soft sweet molasses notes. Appearance is a good brown near black body and a little head. Flavour is heavy licorice and a strong cherry chocolate. Very syrupy and cloying mouthfeel. It is sweet, strong, and lacking balance.

Has soft peachy notes on the nose, appearance is a little head and a clear copper body. Flavour is meaty and nutty and surprisingly few hoppy notes. Crisp finish. It’s a decent brew and not a total hop overload like some IPA’s.

Has a sharp lager aroma with good balance, but predictable. Nice clear copper body, but almost no head. Flavour is refreshing unintrusive lager, medium on the mouth. Well made but not exciting.

Aroma is charred coffee and brown syrup, certainly not appetizing. Has some white head and a black ruby body. Flavour is roasted barley with no complexity, no layering, just whatevs like it was syrup dumped in water. Palate is watery. It’s kinda boring I gots to say, no idea what the fuss is aboot.

Aroma of more peaches and oranges. Has some head and a foggy gold body. Flavour is crisp orange with grain hints. Medium on the mouth. It’s just okay again, a common them at this place it seems.

Aroma of soft juicy peach and mandarin orange. Has a little foam head in the glass and a clear copper body. Flavour is sour lemon and sweet grains. Middled mouthfeel. Just kind meh, I thought, neither here nor there, not memorable.

Aroma of soft hop notes. Good foam in the glass and a clear copper body. Flavour is a middling citrus affair. Kind of weak on the mouth. It’s decidedly and spectacularily average.

On tap at L’Amère à Boire. Aroma of sweet grains, with no pullback, lots of sugar oozing through. Has a little bit of foam head and a ruby brown body. Flavour is sweet molasses and chocolate icing. Dry finish. It’s not bad but missing detail.
