Very soft for a porter, it was silky smooth, and i was able to have it alongside their imperial stout. I find this to be VERY similar to the stout. It seems to be it’s little brother, just lower on overall bitterness, and flavor but quite similar. A nice semi-sweet, and roasty porter with cocoa, and coffee notes.

big on malt! great bready chewy malts with some nice hopping. GReat buttery grains in the flavor, another great lager from this great brewpub.

nice nose of burt malt, slight coffee, and a touch of smoke. Flavour ismuch of the same, but ièm finiding it a little thin. A nice beer, but too thin, not sure why they call this a porter.

On tap at the brewpub.
A great example of a good pils. Crisp, with a great balance of hops, and that amazing bready grainy, maltiness that i love in a good lager. This brewpub is a lagerheads wet dream.

Nice amber color, a good dose of hops, with minimal hops, a decent beer, but really nothing special.

sweet earthy malt nose. Sweet flavour, its and off beer. im getting some fruit like cherries, and dates in the finish, but the malt is lingering, quite complex for the style, a decent brew.

red amber pour, good head, nice malty flavor, and aroma, similar to the vollbier.

First time i see this beer at the brewpub, i thought i was just a mis spelling when i saw it on their wall. But alas no, its an english pale ale!
THe hops come through, but it’s a little thin on flavor, this could use more malt.

Well........looks exactly like Guinness with the thick creamy head. aroma is kinda sour, and roasty. MOuthfeel is thin, and again that sourness lingers, and it’s quite dry. Not my cup of tea.
