Dark brown colour, beige foam. Nose of caramel, roasted malts. Bitter and hoppy dubbel, not too sweet. nice surprise. I really like it!

Very thick, dense and huge cream-coloured head over reddish amber beer, veiled. Sweetish nose with caramel, rosewater, fruity, orange(peel). Bitterish-sweet; again rosewater, citruspeel, grapefruit and a hint at lemon. Medium bodied, hopoil-slick; long bitterish aftertaste, resiny. Bit sweet for an IPA. Far from bad, but with an IPA, I always expect fireworks.

Bottle shared. Very hazy brown with a medium short lived tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, overripe dark fruit, a touch of herbs and light chocolate notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [21-07-2016]

Bottle shared. Hazy dark golden with white head. Lots of sweet malts, some cloves and coriander, grassy, light dough and green leaves. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Meh.

Bottle shared. Murky reddish brown with beige head. Cocoa, raisins, brown bread, figs. Some light wood, Nutella. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Medium bodied. Nothing like a dubbel, but quite nice.
