12oz can from Boise Coop. Well out of season but this is one I've been looking for. Light amber pour, medium foamy head. Toasty caramel aroma with a hint of chai spice. Taste is more caramel, some light leathery and tobacco notes, and finishes with a bit of dryness. Not overly winter-y, just a solid malty brew.

Cardboard and grain aroma. Cola brown, medium off-white head. Grainy. Light to medium body, easy carbonation. Not much going on. I'd call it a schwarzbier.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het heeft een diep zwarte kleur met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van geroosterde mout en wat rokerig. De smaak is gebrande mout, chocolade en koffie.

Optisch schönes rotes Kupfer, in der Nase spannend, Karamell, Würze, macht Lust. Im Trunk setzt sich das fort, die Kräuter bringen echt ordentlich Pepp und unterstreichen schön das Karamell, wie ein Möhrenkuchen, süß und doch irgendwie erdig. Tolles Ding, sehr lecker.

0,33ee Dose, optisch Kupfer wie versprochen. In der Nase irgendwie süß, zitronig, aber auch Karamell. Im Trunk Karamell, mittig bis hinten bitter, im Antrunk etwas schwach, insgesamt leider nur Mittelmaß.
