Appearance: black in the pour and in the glass with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated outward but didn't leave much lace if any at all
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, roasted coffee tones then some orange zest
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty quality then flanked by some light citrusy vibes; finishes semi-sweet with some roasty vibes and a touch of citrus
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper; good amount of smoothness with some citrusy tones playing nicely without causing too much distraction
Overall: nicely done pastry impy porter worthy of coming back to.

Appearance: deep brown very close to black in color with a quickly dissipating head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: toasted marshmallows, black coffee, vanilla sweetness, sweet oats and sweet smoke, sly chocolate
Flavor: mixes up the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to smoky and subtly roasty character; finishes the same way
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; very good smoothness along the tongue
Overall: nice sweet smoked porter worthy of returning to.

Aroma: carraway seed, ginger, dark roasted malts, black coffee, dark chocolate and a touch of orange zest
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to sweet quality; finishes strong with the carraway, ginger and dark roasted malts
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; some smoothness but this one is extremely dry
Overall: I would have this again as long as I can get a ton of water after I drink it, boy oh boy is that a dry beer or what!

Flavor: does a great job of meshing the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to tart quality; finishes dark berry to passion fruity toned with chocolate notes
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper; some smoothness but also some tart acidic character nipping the tongue a little bit
Overall: for the most part, this was quite a nice impy porter I would have again.

Aroma: toasted nuts, wet grains, floral and spicy tones of the rye, slight milk chocolatey tones
Flavor: pretty much takes the prior noted aromas but leaves out the floral part of the rye to blend semi-sweet to nutty and slightly roasty; finishes slightly with the spicy tones of the rye and some milk chocolatey accents
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, some smoothness to this beer, and the rye pretty much just adds a quality of dryness
Overall: nicely done porter that packs in a ton of character in 5.5%

Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to full; good sipper; very smooth along the tongue and an ever so slight touch of dryness
Overall: what an absolutely awesome impy porter well worthy of coming back to.

Overall: very nicely done pastry stout well worth coming back to.

Aroma: vanilla sweet to milk chocolatey sweet, slight dark chocolate with some dark fruits slide in underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine full sweet decadence; finishes the same way
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; some smoothness with a touch of stickiness but more or less just "noticeable" stickiness, nothing cloying
Overall: very nicely done imperial porter well worth coming back to as a dessert beer on a cold Winter's night.

Overall: I liked this one a lot as it's very well balanced.
