Pours dark caramelly brown. Decently sized, stable, rather creamy, lightly tanned ( off white) head. Smell is intense. Dark malty sweetness (earthy and caramel), dried fruits, sweet impressions, but I wouldnt recognize the honey from it. Taste is full, sweet. Indeed notes of marzepan ( which I read in previous ratings) which I really don't like, at all, but they're light enough for me to take. Boozyness is very hidden. Caramel, dark ( dried) fruits, old chocolate,... All the aspects you might expect. Again, I wouldnt recognize the honey in here if I didn't know it was in there. Medium bitterness to pair against the sweetness. Fairly complex. Body could be a bit more dense, perhaps. OK barleywine. Well complex and all that, but it doesn't seem to go in a clear direction to me.

Euro Summer Santa 2019 - thanks to MonsterMagnet. Malzig erdiger, leicht vergoren fruchtiger Beginn. Feine Herbe, nie alkoholisch. Wenig steigend malzig, hohe Süffigkeit, zum hinteren Mittelteil klebrig werdend. Mild herb bleibend, mittellanger Abgang. Gelungen. 10/10/12/11/9/11

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy. yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of nori and melon, some gooseberry and quince. Taste is sweet-ish, oaty and wheaty malty, fruity and grassy hoppy, hints of melon, gooseberry, yellow apple, some quince, a touch of nori. Quite sweet.

Bottle. Black/brown with a beautiful beige head. Aroma of cocoa, milk chocolate, caramel and dark dried fruits. Taste follows aroma plus some toffee and a hint of citrus fruits. Slightly acidic and fruity bitter. Low to medium carbonation. Chewy mouthfeel. A nice and balanced stouty Doppelbock.

Muddy light brown colour with no head. Aroma and flavour are primarily yeasty and dry. Sourdough? A mess.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Chocolate and a hint of cherry in the aroma. Malty sweetish roasty flavor. Dark chocolate and vanilla. Hard the spot the cherries. But the beer is promising.
