Description
110 years of Contreras in a 190 year old brewery. In 1818 Brewery Latte was founded as a typical farm-brewery. In the second half of the 19th century the company was led by Valère Latte who sold the brewery in 1898 to René Contreras. In 1920 René Contreras chose to sell his brewery to his nephew Marcel Contreras. it was Marcel who would transform the brewery into a modern 20th century company. He shaped the buildings as they currently still remain. In 1982 Marcel's son Willy became the sole manager of the brewery. At the start of the 21st century Ann Contreras, the only daughter of Willy Contreras, and her fiancée Frederik De Vrieze gradually took over the daily management of the brewery.

En blond med det där lilla extra. I det här fallet en doft och smak som drar åt svartvinbärsblad/cassis.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 08/25/2011. The beer is a slightly cloudy orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that recedes slowly. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and grassy hops. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal and grassy hops and bready malt. The finish is mildly hoppy and leaves a malt aftertaste. Decent all around.
