Description
The Steamworks Brewing Company is a microbrewery based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 1995, Steamworks was originally based out of the Gastown brewpub located in the city of Vancouver. In 2013, the current brewery and taproom opened in the neighbouring city of Burnaby.

Shines in the tulip shaped glass like sherry. The nose is perfumy, with hints of spice. The body is yeasty with a mouth full of perfumy spices and a tight body. The finish is like a spiced up sherry. Not overly complex, but well made.

A full malty nose of light toffee and espresso notes. The rich, full, chewy, body is dominated by toffee, figs, black cherries caramel all leading to a smooth bold malty finish. This is the best beer these guys offer, totally AWESOME

A decent offering from one of my less favorite breweries. Hazy amber, long lasting white head.Good lace.Decent body. Good malt profile with crisp dry hop finish
