On tap at Cph Beerfestival. Almost black, with a beige head. Served too cold. Quite roasted aroma, with some dark, bitter chocolate in it. Roasted, sour, dryish aroma with some chocolate and cocoa. Thin body and a dry, bitter and sour finish. Could use some more hops, I think. (060519)

On tap at Cph Beerfestival. Clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with citrus and pinecones. Malt, hops, fruits and pines in the flavor. Ok body and a hoppy finish. Seems that Holbæk preferes to serve their beers ice-cold, as all four were too cold, at least on friday night. (060519)

On tap at Cph Beerfestival. Brownish red, clear brown ale with a beige head. It was served too cold, hence disguising the taste and aroma a bit. It has a mild, light nutty and caramel aroma, with a touch of hops. The flavor is sweet, with caramel and some roasted notes. Thin body. It could use some more hops I think. (060519)

On tap at Cph Beerfestival. Slightly unclear, golden beer with a white head. Hops, malt and caramel in the aroma. Malt, caramel fruits, pines and grapefruit in the flavor. Medium body and a pleasant bitterness in the finish. Unfortunately served way too cold. (060519)

(On tap) Slightly hazy pilsener golden with a creamy, white head leaving a neat lacework. Aroma of yeast and bananas and a wee whiff of butter. Medium-bodied, sweetish malty with notes of banana whilst the elder flower come through rather late. No real bitterness. A bit too sweet for my liking, but still a pleasant summer quencher. 220606

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Almost black. Evident butterscotchy diacetyl aroma. Sweet with rounded mouthfeel. Some coffee and aniseed, but mostly butterscotch. Medium bitterness.

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Clear golden. The aroma has more diacetyl than I’ve ever sensed before, It’s sweet with rounded mouthfeel. The butterscotchy diacetyl is so powerful that no other flavour has a chance to come through. I usually like diacetyl, but this is ridiculous.

Black color; nice head. Milky aroma and taste; cappuccino taste. A bit short, but quite original and very pleasant.

Hazy golden color. A fruity malty brew. I don’t know why but it reminds me… yoghurt. Odd but quite pleasant.
