Tap. Cloudy orange with small white head that doesn’t last. Aroma is floral with oranges, lemon, hay, light spices. A little sweetness with honeyed hay, tangy wheat, oranges, ends only dryish with moderate bitterness, cloves, nutmeg. Really quenching.

This was on tap for Canada Day 2013. Amber-brown. Aroma has woody hop and complex, toasty, crackery malt. Light toasty character, mellow hop....good balance.

Had an aged version at the brewpub that clocked in stronger at 9.2%. Dark brown w reddish accent. Thin head. Smells smoke/peat, lots of toffeeish malt, the taste is rich and syrupy. Light smoke. Intense. Really nice dessert beer.

Reddish-amber. Aroma is earthy, sweet caramel, light bitterness. Not hugely impressive...maybe disappointing.

Sweetish, well-balanced example with light phenols, hint if hop dryness. Well- done, maybe needs a fuller body

Dark brown, thin head. Aroma is pretty intense for a stout of this size in its roasty richness. Body is soft, with nice sweet chocolate, hints of nuts, little bit of hop

Light brown colour - looks a bit pale. Aroma accents caramels with just a hint of toastiness. Chewy, sweet but moreish in a toffee-caramel way.

Pours dark amber with a small head.Nose shows some bready malt, sweet melanoidin notes and caramel. Nice.Bready and biscuity malt as flavours along with a grainy note you’d usually find in lighter german styles. Quite light malt for an oktoberfest.Could use a bit more carbonation.

Bottle. Clear amber with an off white head. Toffee aroma with grass and some chocolate. And so it tastes. Rich but not cloying. Moderate bitterness, slightly spicy at the end.
