Description
At the Frome Brewing (previously Milk Street) Company we work with an extremely talented and knowledgeable team of brewers. We pride ourselves on producing the highest quality beers and we're not going to send anything out of our doors that we wouldn't want to drink ourselves. We do like to experiment - but more importantly, we're all about balancing delicate flavours to produce easy drinking beers.
In other words... "it's all about the beer!"
Brewing takes place up to five times a week, with malt from Warminster, hops from Charles Faram and our very own yeast. Our yeast, which is a similar strain to Youngs, is particularly versatile. Our beers are all vegan (but they're not gluten free).

Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading. Deep amber with a sparse and fraying white cap. Rather metallic up front before a mild fruity, orangey flavour comes through. Nice warm malt in the end with a little spice. Grew on me but the metal was annoying.

Had this at the Tipi Tent Bar at End of The Road Festival, Friday 29th August 2014 Fruity amber bitter. Traditional in flavour, appearance (amber) and aroma and quite straightforward middling bitterness. Fine. Btw I couldn’t see what the abv was and forgot to ask I would have suggested that it was ~4%. Murky amber in colour with a few bubbtles skittering over the surface, a messy indistinct bitter that I wasn’t a fan of. Just for accuracy it was definitely 3.8% A5 A2 T5 P2 Ov10 2.4

At the Peacock Bar at End of The Road Festival, Friday 29th August 2014 Pours black with lacy, filmy thin covering tan head. Tangy, not as chocolatey as the description hints at, bitter chocolate, fruity with a roasty finish. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
