33cl bottle. Pours almost clear dark amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma of red malt, pine, bitter hops. Taste of strong malt, pine, bitter mild fruity hops.

33cl Bottle from Vonk, just past bb date. Hazy glowing golden orange colour, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, cookies, light floral citrus hops, some orange. Smells a bit old, as expected. Flavour is soft, malty, some caramel, honey, fruity, orange, soft floral citrus, light bitter finish. Light bodied. OK.

Bottle shared at the Canary wharf tasting 16/02/2016. Thanks to Kenny. Opaque mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of loose light tan head. Aroma is lemon, spicy citrus, woody, tannin. Flavour is composed of nutty choc malts, pine needle and a little bark. Assertive citrus bitterness. Palate is medium bodied, grainy, little sticky hop, moderate carbonation. I like it.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 03/09/2018 -> label looks more like 2018 but could be 2016 (would make more sense that way). black color, small coffee-colored head. smells of coffee, licorice, some roast, some exotic fruits, earthy notes, light vanilla. nice smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of licorice, rather acidic, bit sourish / light green apples, very light roast, spices, some coffee. finishes dry and lightly roasty with notes of licorice and citric notes. Decent, but also a bit boring, also not sure how fresh the bottle was, overall drinkable. Liked the aeresis quite a bit better..

Bottle at Uncle Tel’s, Manchester. Black pour with a light tan head. Nice nose of blackberries, coffee, tobacco. Flavours of ash, chocolate, raisin, coffee. Dry, smoky mouthfeel. Damned good stuff.
