Jet black, large beige head. Aroma is burnt coffee, and huge pine resin hops. Oily mouth feel, standard carb. High bitterness, huge pine resin, and charred malts. This is an old school American impy stout.

Soft cereals, a bit of breadiness, some light yeast, lots of apple. Thin mouth feel, almost no carb. Finish is semi sweet, musty paper, and old apples.

Bottle. Dark brown pour, with a large beige head. Aroma is smoky, soft peat notes with some funk bacon, and campfire, jesus this is odd. Mouth feel is nice, carb is off the charts, almost came out my nose. Finish is medium bitter, funky, smoky, some dark fruit wrapped in smoky bacon. weird.

Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow Pour with a large white head. Aroma is passionfruit, pineapple and some stone fruit. Mouth feel is crisp and the carb is light and fluffy. Low bitterness, dank passionfruit, light hops with a wheat malt finish.

Can from my advent calendar. Slightly hazy orange, with a large white head. Aroma is citrus rind, zest and oil. Light cereals, some pine resins. Mouth feel is full, carb is light. Finish is medium to highly bitter, semi sweet candied citrus peel and orange oil, with some pine.

Clear copper poue, small white head. Aroma is slightly metallic, yeasty, light grasses. Mouth feel is thin, carb is lively. Medium bitterness, malty, grassy, yeasty, a solid Belgian amber with light frutiness.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo tostato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La parte liquida è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. Il colore è ambrato scarico. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Sulla lingua si riportano indizi di caramello, miele, frutta secca, agrumi e frutta passita.

Bottiglia. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sour. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage, con carbonazione bassa. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è carico e c'è anche una componente moderatamente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, agrumi, pompelmo, tamarindo, arancia amara, mandarino e mela verde.

Bottiglia. Un arco olfattivo dominato da frutta passita, alcolico e sottobosco. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera gratificante e il modo in cui permane è considerevole. Il cappello di schiuma color marrone scuro resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore del liquido è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il finale è lungo, pulito e complesso. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, vaniglia, bourbon, tabacco, frutta secca, agrumi, frutta disidratata e alcol presente non invadente.

Dark brown to black with a creamy mocha head. Aroma of roasty malts, chocolate, coffee. Flavour is roasty, sweet chocolate, coffee. Very nice Imperial Stout.
