Bottle shared at tasting. Black color with a red hue. Aroma and flavor are malts, brown malts, slightly sweetish initially, moderately bitter in the finish. Solid.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Donkerbruin tot robijnrood bier met matig schuim dat als een film blijft liggen. Heel licht aroma van pruimen en kersen. Smaak is zoet en karamel-achtig. Nasmaak is houtig en licht bitter maar ook plakkerig.

Pours a dark ruby brown, small creamy offwhite head. Scent is dark malts, tad chocolaty, sweet impressions. Not too loud but feels rather heavy. Taste is sweet, very malty indeed. Some chocolate. Typical WP thick, sweet beer. Intensity is rather high as well. Has a minor touch of bitterness, and due to the high maltyness, feels far less sugary than some others by this brewer - which is a benefit to me. Hides the 12 % very well. Just a touch of yeastyness to create some complexity, allthough it's still not a super complex beer. Enjoyable for sure though.

Can. Opaque black brown beer, good tan head. Smooth and airy palate, decent fine carbonation on the back end. Soft dark malts, good creamy darkish chocolate. A nice malty vibe brings an overall dark chocolate Malteasers. A decent coffee streak underneath. The back end is all about the Cognac barrel, which is rather nice. Smooth but rich fruity Cognac with that good ripe grape fruitiness that speaks of a quality spirit. Nice job overall. No real heat here despite the hefty 14%

Can sample at a tasting at Lior's place. Thanks Odi. Black, tan foam. Blueberry, licorice, some herbal spiciness, malt, roast, sweet, alcohol, caramel, boozy. Kinda over the top.

I spotted this bottle at an upscale liquor store in Colorado Springs, a White Pony beer? A no-brainer to purchase. The label shows a lot n. of 02/2015, gotta say. I have my New Belgium globe glass arrayed to catch the pour. Dark, very dark, black with perhaps some brown around the edges. The smallish head withers to a ring of small, light tan bubbles. The scent is chocolate with some hops lurking. The drink is all right, not quite what I hoped. Chocolate definitely, grain, licorice, malt, a touch of raspberry jam. The feel is really thin, for an imperial porter I thought there would be some presence. Oh well.

Pours dark, unclear brown. Small white head. Scent is sharp, chocolate strawberry - but not as sweet as expected. Taste is sharp, sweet, exhaustingly intense on the strawberry. Bit cocoa. Sugary. Decent, but hard to drink .

Pours unclear amberblonde. Scent is pumpkin, mild malts. Notes of herbal hops. Taste is full, pumpkin, malty. Not very sweet. A bit bitter though. Aroma takes the lead. Long finish, pumpkin heavy.

Pours clear, amber, no real head. Scent is intense (over the top) crystal malts. Taste is sharp, bitter, very intense crystal malts. White sugar, strong alcohol. Not too surprising, being 14 %
