(Can) Clear amber brown with dense creamy head. Subtle aroma with pleasant hints of hops. Palate lacks balance, the body is rather thin and watery, but the head is a dense mat on top of it - odd. Taste has rather a sharp metallic tang to it, not sure whether that is from it being a canned beer or some harsh hops. There’s some light caramel to balance, although negligible sweetness. Disappointing - it’s not the Boddies I used to drink in "the old country".

Can from Asahiya, it pours a clear copper with that classic nitro pour which looks cool if nothing else. It leaves behind a thick creamy looking head. Mild caramel aroma, soft smooth mouthfeel but it comes off a bit watery. The taste is grainy sweet malts mostly caramel with some bitterness. Pretty meh, it is just too watery for me. This can was past date though from the ratings I don’t think much changed. The best thing about this beer is it’s appearance.

I think this is the right version of Bass, 500mL can from Molloy’s, 3.8% abv, no other definition on the label, just says "brewed in the UK". Anyways, small aroma of soap, hop cones, caramel malt. Color is crystal clear gold amber, medium off white head, dissipates quickly, no real lacing. Flavor is soapy, nice hop bitterness, thin watery mouthfeel, palate is easy, no lasting flavor, this is very easy to drink, possibly a good session ale, but I think if it was warm it would taste like piss.

Ermmmmm. Can on a train. Not much else to say. But it’s like toned down Stella.
