Dorée pâle, col blanc peu tenace.
Arôme présente un nez finement funk avec une petite touche de rusticité et un rétro-nasal frais oscillant entre fruité et fleuri avec un bouquet adouci un peu mielleux - ici, usage de leur classique East Kent Golding?
Palais est léger et frais, l'apport de ce caractère 'sauvage' confère une fine bouche de funk - brett qui vient rappeler la Bruxelensis de DLS. Fleuri, fruité sur la groseille verte, effet d'ananas en retrait avec une touche d'acidité exotique. Le fini reste sec avec un léger retrait pils.

Pours a hazed amberblonde. Small white head. Scent is malty, full, creamy and elegant, bready. Taste is full, bready, elegant balance. Medium intensity. Malty. OK. Seems a bit sweet / unfresh , not a great example of the style, but I truly appreciate the fact a Belgium brewer makes an English Bitter.

wanderlust 2022

The third in a series of saisons by this new Brussels city brewery - and not to be confused with the Senne and Crooked Stave collab of the same name. Snow white, tiny-bubbled, dense, medium thick, membrane-lacing, slowly breaking but stable head on a misty apricot blonde beer with warm orangey tinge. Aroma of ripe banana, Cantaloupe, Doyenné pear, white bread, gooseberry jam, chamomile, honey, dry crackers, old orange juice, stewed apple, croissants, oatmeal porridge, vague rusty iron note. Fruity onset in a cleanish way, banana, red apple, pear and a dash of apricot or even white grape, sweetish with thin sourish edge, softish carb, slick body with extra smoothness from the oats; sugar-bready and cracker-like malts with a thin layer of honeyish residual sweetness on top, ongoing fruity and growing spicy notes (the rye, no doubt, but also phenolic clove and hoppy chamomile), working towards a neatly drying, spicy and florally hoppy finish, where the fruity effects (sweet and still sourish too) keep continuing as well. Credible as a traditionally styled Walloon saison, the Hallertau adds a pleasant and elegant touch of white fruit here, but for me it could also have brought more actual bitterness to counter the sweet element; enjoyable enough, in all.

Little cloudy blond yellow beer, big creamy white head, unstable, adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, spicy, hint of banana, herbal and a bit peppery, nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, banana, yeasty, sugary, alcohol, a bit malty, sugary, quite bland, meh. Aftertaste: yeasty, banana, sweet and sugary, a bit malty, ok.

Lacks body for 6,9% abv... Tastes like 5%. Hmmm... Makes it a descent saison with too much alcohol.

Too light for this abv... Quite boring and too carbonated... Something went wrong?

Couleur dorée, col blanc fin crémeux.
Arôme est frais, houblonné délicat, fruité avec un léger côté fraisier, melon, effluves sur le rustique - céréales/grains. Le bouquet du seigle apporte un plus au caractère rustique de cette saison.
Palais présente une belle note sèche rustique avec un léger épicé du seigle. Usage de Huell Melon qui vient rajouter une bonne fraicheur de bouche - fraise pas trop mûre, melon doux qui revient en fin de bouche - amertume reste fine.

Arôme au bouquet frais houblonné plutôt sur le noble.Rétro-nasal sur un effet 'bready' et malté. Le tout est frais fruité avec une fine note de melon.

Palais reste sur une base maltée, pas mal de pâle qui vient offrir une pointe de douceur caramel en fin de bouche. Cela est repris par un houblonné oscillant vers les feuilles de thé vert, fleuri séché, champêtre avec un fruité délicat en retrait rappelant un fruit gorgé de soleil.
