Pours dark, caramelly brown, small white heqf. Smell is dry, bit sweet. Mild syrupy notes. Taste is sharp, bitter, sugar, colliding tastes. Very unbalanced.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled draft @ Kerstbierfestival 2017. Dark brown amber, tanned head. Nose is cloves chemical plastic cloying spice & dark fruit. Taste is chemical syrup cloying plastic, dark fruit, spice,. Raw syrup,… On point for what it was meant to be I suppose.

Gekregen van een kollega op 25-04-2017. En geproefd op 4-11-2017. Delvaux is een helder-blond biertje dat bij het uitschenken veel wit schuim produceert in een wat moussige-rotsachtige structuur. Het blijft ook sterk aan de glaswand hangen. Veel CO2 belletjes van middelmatige grootte zijn merkbaar. Het schuim heeft een normale stabiliteit, als het glas al wat leger is blijft er nog steeds een moussige laag op het bier staan van ongeveer 5 mm dikte. Delvaux heeft een uitgebreid en fruitig aroma, honing-zoet en wat caramel-mout, fruitig met wat banaan, een hint van citrus, meloen en perzik. Ook een lichte likeurachtige alcohol toets is merkbaar. De smaak van Delvaux is alcohol-zoet en zeer licht bitterig, ook de karamel-mout, de banaan en de likeur-alcohol zitten er nog in met ook nog een zeer lichte pepertoets. In de mond lijkt Delvaux eigenaardig genoeg geen gevoel van een volle body te hebben, het gaat eerder richting medium-volmondig, hij geeft ook een ietwat droge indruk en hij heeft een volmondige textuur. De CO2 prikkeling is normaal te noemen. Een harmonieus en licht verwarmend biertje, licht verwarmend omdat je de alcohol duidelijk waarneemt. De nasmaak van Delvaux vloeit lang uit, is zoet met de likeur-alcohol, zelfs licht plakkerig, ook een beetje peper en na een tijdje is hij nog steeds bitter en wat droog. Zeer lekker en aangenaam biertje, spijtig van het ietwat hoge alcoholgehalte want dit zou een zeer goede doordrinker kunnen zijn. Foto's te zien op: beersfrombelgium.eu/nl/Delvaux-b-4235.html

@ Brouwerij De Kroon. Hazy yellow, white foam. Citrussy, rather dry and grassy. Bitter, some banana sweetness. Ok.

330ml bottle, unsure where from. Auchan is a likely bet. Pours clear gold with an enthusiastic white head. Aroma is yeasty, lightly sweet, mildly floral. Taste bears a robust, moderately sweet, lightly spicy blonde character. Strength boosts the fruity yeasty notes initially, but seems to fall a little mid-way through. Moderate to high carbonation. Pleasant, drinkable blonde.
