Dark brown, medium carbonation. Sour? aroma with notes of roasted malts and coffee. Dry finish. Is this beer meant to be sour? Very strange combination with the bitter and dry taste of coffee.

ZEBF13 smell is bourbon-ish. sweet, but heavy in the taste. weird combo, ok, but meh... prefer the normal one .

Bottle at home from Brewdog Online store. Juicy fruit punch aroma with a slight yeast edge. Haxy (my Fault) orange loose white head. Nice ful body . good fruity hop aromas and flavour. mellow hop bitterness. Good malt balnce. Very well made IPA.

330ml bottle. Hazy orange amber colour, bubbly thin white head and aroma of orange fruit, candy & pine notes. Taste is initially sweet mango-ish malt balanced out with an orange & grapefruit citrus hop bitterness and some earthy pine. Oily mouth feel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, warming dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear copper pour with really lively white head, grapefruit & pine aroma, resinous piney hop taste with grapefruit, mandarin, bitter balanced malts very good.

Bottle. Frothy lightbrown fair mostly deminishing head Moderate malty aroma. burned plastic dominating with some roasted notes. Ugly bad plastic/orhganic solvent burned flavor. Clearly yeastflaw. Average ugly finish. Oily palate and too fizzy. Drain pour.

@BFGM13 donker zwart, geen kraag aroma: koffie, chocolade, volmoutig, gerookte mouten, aardse mouten smaken: matig zoet, zacht co2, chocolade, moutig afdronk: zoet, koffie, moutig, bitter, wel erg lekker ! jammer dat ze ’s avonds pas de Barrel Aged mee zouden nemen, gemiste kans om die ook te proeven...

Bottle @ Rooie Dop brewdungeon. Pours a black colour with a stable tan, medium sized head. Aroma is initially vanilla, followed by roasted malts, chocolate, glue, oats, slightly alcoholic. Flavour is of roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon. Fairly sweet. Pleasant chewy texture. Slightly bitter, fairly sweet finish. Very good, and I’m sure will improve with age.

Bouteille 330ml au Cheval Blanc à Montréal. De couleur noire et opaque. Nez de chocolat noir, de malt rôti, léger de chocolat au lait sucré (notes lactiques), de café et de houblon herbeux avec des traces de fumée, de réglisse noire et de mélasse sucrée. Moyenne-ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-élevé ainsi qu’une texture légèrement crémeuse. Léger goût de chocolat au lait (notes lactiques) avec des notes fruitées (petits fruits foncés) ainsi qu’avec des traces de fumée et de réglisse noire lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de malt rôti, un léger goût de chocolat noir avec des notes de pain grillé puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère-moyenne amertume asséchante de houblon herbeux (incluant des traces de menthe) avec un léger gout de café, des notes d’alcool et de noix grillées. Post-goût long et aux notes sèches, moyennement amer de rôti, moyen de houblon herbeux et de chocolat (notes acides) avec un léger goût de café et quelques traces fruitées. (2 avril 2013)
