Pours clear golden with huge white head. Slightly sweet and peppery with some banana flavors. Light/medium body with fizzy carbonation. It’s OK, buth there are much better saisons that are widely available.

Pours black with light brown head. Aromas of burnt malts and coffee. Similar flavors, not really any chocolate, I was expecting more. Medium to full body with minimal carbonation and a dry finish. Nothing special unless you want an organic beer.

Pour is a bright red with a very small white head. Aroma is deffinatly roasted caramel malts with a hint of the rye. Flavor is very bready with some spice and rye. Leaves a earthyness on the tounge after the swallow. Not as over the top as Founders red rye but this is a tasty brew for a good cause.

Draught Orange amber, no head left. Citrus, but also a bit acetic acid. Very citrussy hops. Malt and discreet hops in the taste. Again cigarette ashes - the glasses? Leafy notes. Light burning MF, medium bodied at least. Not very impressive, IMO.

Pours black with almost no head. Cocoa powder aroma with some sweet malts. Sweet with light bitterness. Average.

Bomber. Interesting roasted aroma. Almost like warm rye bread? Sort of a garnet color with slim traceries of beige bubbles for head. Rather full in body with creamy carbonation. Lightly roasted rye flavor along with floral hop? Rather a delicate thing. Finish is mildly bitter and not too sweet. Guess it’s well balanced. It’s very smooth, sort of caramel rye, and something herby or perhaps woody. Maybe that’s the caraway.* Very different. Might do with a bit more hop. Nice change of pace. *Subtext on the bottle: "Ale Brewed with Caraway Seeds"

Small but fizzy white head. The Body is slightly hazy dark yellow. The aroma first hits you with clove with notes of sweet orange, pepper and a light yeastiness of cobweb and mustiness. Very nice. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately acidic with a light bitterness on the back of the tongue. Long finish as the bitterness ebbs. Medium body with a smooth, but slightly watery texture. Lively carbonation. A delicious saison even though it’s a little sweet.

Bottle. As I pour I can’t help but think that this looks thin. Doesn’t seem to have a lot of viscosity for a bw. Body is a nice tawny color and there is not really any head to speak of other than a thin scum on the surface and half a dozen bubbles scattered about. Aromas are nice... fruit (raisins, dried cherries, fig), brown sugar sweetness, a bit of alcohol and some molasses. My first thoughts are that the flavor is odd... a bit too sweet, unbalanced alcohol presence and not quite enough malt or something to cover all the deficiencies. Just seems kind of strange that when you run up against a bw that you don’t care for, they are usually pretty lousy. Don’t know if it was breathing a bit or what, but things seemed to settle down a bit as I work my way down the glass. The alcohol problem seems to have balanced itself out a bit, the sweetness is a little more in check. Dominant flavors now are fig and toffee. Kind of pleasant.

Bottle. Poured black with a foamy tan head, no lacing. Faint aroma of chocolate malt. Much bittersweet chocolate in the flavour, along with the malt. Lingering chocolate flavour. This seemed a bit unbalanced on the chocolate side, but it DOES call itself a chocolate stout so I should not complain.

good flavor. dark with little head...has a nutty finish and definite chocolate flavor. i like it...
