On tap at the Rake. Hazy orange - amber beer, little white head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Nice hops, a little orange, peach syrup and subtle tropical fruits. Good stuff for UK hops! Very drinkable, perhaps could so with a little more bitterness - but slipped down very easy!

Bottle, Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Dark reddish brown pour with a meek tan head. Sweet, fragrant nose. Flavour similarly sweet; the berry fruit, mixed with some citrus hop and roasted character all came together well to help this to raise its game. ABV fairly prominent. Enjoyable and interesting brew overall.

It retains a full bitterness although the ale is slightly sour in the palate.

Tiny brown head. Opaque black body. Burnt mineraly cold coffee aroma. Sweet-dryish cold coffee and chocolate taste with earthy sheepy notes. Fullish body. Flat, mild mouthfeel. Dryish minty burnt cold coffee aftertaste with earthy chocolate notes. Nice, but very dense and closed. (0.33l bottle shared by Ole_R.)
