Bottle shared with iphonephan. Pours clear amber brown with a cream tan head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, banana, cloves, herbs, malt, caramel, prunes, overripe dark fruit. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

I bought this because it said "dry hopped session ale" - amber pour - frothy, lasting lace - nose of fruit cocktail sweetness (syrup, cherries), lightly citric and wood hops - flavor of mild harsh maltiness, fruit cocktail/fruit punch, peppery hops, citrus - finish is peppery and mildly abrasive - the carbonation is soft and creates a nice texture, but other than that, this is pretty rough and tough to "session."

Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is raisin malt, oak, and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with sweet raisin malt and caramel with light bitter finish. Good.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is bourbon, cherry, sour funk, and a bit of hops. Taste is straight strange. It seems like a Flemish red at first, but very quickly turns into something stranger once the whiskey and malt flavors start to kick in. Good balance, but still obviously a combination of a whole lot of different beers.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of dark fruits. This one is interesting. Plenty of sourness along side the oaky barrel aged flavors. Does not really work for me. But not a drain pour either.

Murky brown - purple beer, small cream coloured head. Smooth palate with mild carbonation. Fairly malty with a trace of marmite. Mild tangy grape juice. Fairly neutral finish. Quite drinkable but pretty simplistic. Overall a bit malty.

Big Top Beverage Mart, Roslyn variety case: Pours golden orange with a white head. Aroma is floral plus citrus plus bread. Taste is not as hoppy as expected. Continuous floral undertone. Easy to drink. Somewhat crisp. Nothing fantastic.
