Bottle from Asda. Pours a reddish brown clour with an off-white head; rich fruity aroma; chewy and dry in the mouth with nuts, fruit and hoppy bitterness mingling with the roasted malts; a warming finish. Excellent!

Cask @ Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a ruby colour with an off-white head. Malty fruity vinous aroma. Fruity malty dry bitter vinous flavor. Dry malty finish with a long bitter fruity finish.

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured with a medium-sized fluffy head: slowly collapsing, but still stable; citrousy-fruity nose with a tinge of molasses and a distinctive (presumably continental) hoppy aroma; moderate bitter lavour, light to medium bodied; malty, slightly sweetish finish with a very pleasant, lingering aromatic hoppiness. The right stuff..........

Bottle: Deep mahagony coloured, small fluffy tanned head; dry dark-malty and roast-malty nose with a tinge of fruitiness and an illusion of molasses, hops detectable; moderate dry bitter flavour, light bodied; dry - again - fruity-bitter finish, a touch of burnt grain; with a lingering chocolatey bitterness. Good well-crafted and spicy stuff........

Bottle: Amber coloured, huge off-white fluffy head; a big touch of hop-resins and hop-oil in the aroma, together with some fruity notes; mainly dry bitter, robust flavour, rather light bodied; some hints of lemons in the - again - dry and bitter finish. A tasty brew, which should have a bit fuller body.........
