Refrigerated can compliments of joepeesie poured into a shaker. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Good lacing, medium body, resinous texture, and nice pine aroma. Taste is some grapefruit, lots of pine, and finishes bitter hops.

Wow, what a generic looking can. Next-to-last of my notes from last year’s DLD, where I got in TWO Alabama beers. Pours with a surprisingly dark brown color. Not a lot of foam, but then I’m at the bottom of the glass. Dry-hopping gives this a definite American Pale Ale slant, and helps make it tasty. The can has set for a while. But it’s still very decent, and I can find an English hop backbone.

On tap at the Hopspitality Brewfest. Pours a slightly hazy orange. The aroma is grassy and pine hops, with some caramel and rye malts. The flavor is very bitter, with only a little balance. The palate is medium to heavy and sticky. Overall, a pretty good IPA, but the rye doesn’t come through very strong.

Received in trade from GPHarris, thanks for the opportunity! Pours a light shade of brown, or a dark shade of copper with a decent ivory head that dissipates to a cap and leaves spotty lace. Smells of toffee and brown sugar, a hint of chocolate and a touch of butterscotch. Very clean sweet malty aroma with a hint of earthy hops deep underneath. Taste is toffee brown sugar malts with a hint of chocolate and caramel. Sweet and malty. Creamy smooth mouthfeel, moderate level of carbonation, medium body. This is a nice little session ale. There’s enough flavor here to keep it interesting and light enough to have a couple.

Received in trade from GPHarris, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a deep shade of tarnished gold with a huge frothy alabaster head that recedes slowly and leaves chunky lace in its wake. Smells of citrus and a hint of pine, slightly earthy and a weird hint of menthol. Biscuit and toffee provide the malt backbone. Taste is citrus and earthy with an earthy herbal edge to it. Sweet caramel and biscuit play against the hops nicely without being asked. Medium body and level of carbonation, resinous sweet mouthfeel. Decent IPA, certainly not world class, but certainly easy enough to enjoy.

Honey, dandelion, and barley malt bouquet. Clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Dandelion flavor, sufficiently bitter, with a grassier end. Perhaps a touch too dry, but the malt and hop balance is good.
