Cask at the source. Dark brown color, scant white head. Aroma of dried cocoa powder, milk chocolate. Taste is bittersweet chocolate, light espresso, some dried dark fruit. The serving temp of the cask bring out the more subtle flavors. It works.

Draft at Meridian Pint. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of sweaty and earthy citrus, pine, grass. Taste is lemon, grapefruit, pine resin. Not overly bitter. Very nice.

Draft. Very dark maroon color, almost black, brown head. Aroma of roasty coffee grounds, light citrus. Taste is dark cocoa, burnt coffee, light pine. Hops are subtle in this one. Very tasty.

Draft at Glen’s Garden Market. Poured a pretty clear, dark tan/light brown color with a nice small white head. Aroma was some nice dried fruit notes, caramel and toffee are in this throughout. Dark, creamy notes. Flavor was nice fruit notes, caramel notes. Some earthy notes from the hops, toffee. This is pretty darn enjoyable.

Sample at GABF 2013. Pours hazy yellow with head. Aroma of citrus, coriander and wheat. Flavour is light moderate sweet and heavy salty. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

GABF 2012. Pours with a mostly clear yellow hued body with a quick to fade white head. Aromas are floral with lavender, grassy, lemony tart acidity, lightly grainy. Flavors are acidic, stone fruit, passion fruit, light acidity, peaches and coriander. Lively carbonation, and off dry. Not a typical gose by any means, but tasty.
