Gravity dispense at GBBF ’13, 16/08/13. Hazed chestnut brown with a thin light tan head. Nose is tangy fruits, bready malts, bitter orange, tarte fruit, light smoke. Taste comprises bready malts, brown sugar, bitter fruit notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. So so affair but drinkable enough.

GBBF Day 4. Lightly hazy brown beer. Good pale tan head. Light dry palate. Little fine carbonation. Floral malt. Good toffee with a little dried fruits. Floral orange. Quite a dry finish. Not bad and the last beer of a great GBBF 2013.

Cask at GBBF 2013. It pours murky brown with a minimal beige head. The nose is wood, twig, earth, leather, varnish and burnt caramel. The taste is wood, earth, toasty, bread, varnish and light astringency with a dry, earthy finish. Light-medium body and low carbonation. A bit so-so...

12oz can at Max’s Hop Fest 2013. Pours a clear orange with some frothy, white head. Nose is earthy, lemon, pithy, vinous, some white grape. Flavor is nice, herbal, chive, scallion, malt, orange, honey, spicy onion. Full, herbal finish. Very nice. I would love to get sixers of this in DC.

Cask at GBBF. Deep amber-red, lace. Very malty nose, caramel and bread. Bready malt flavor, not much in the way of hops. A bit earthy. Ok but rather boring.
