Glad to hear that the reasoning behind this one wasn’t selling out, hiring a white girl and switching from underground rap to pop music. Pours dark brown with good head and lacing. Light roast. Light citrus. Medium bitter. Growler thanks to someone at tasting.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a mostly clear golden color with a medium sized, creamy white head. Aroma was notes of light malts, kiwi fruits - some cornflakes, creamy oats remain. Flavor was mostly kiwi fruits, light hops. I kinda liked it, though perhaps a few degrees cooler would have been quite nice.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a mostly clear golden color with a medium sized, frothy white head. Aroma was notes of light malts - some cornflakes, creamy oats. Flavor was light hops, some sweet corn. Interesting. Actually quite a good beer to give to someone who is more interested in macros.

Full draft pour at Union. Poured a dark color, pretty much black, perhaps dark brown around the edges of the glass. This one had a small off-white head. Aroma was notes of roasted malts, some citrus notes. Yeast notes - interesting. Flavor was bitter malts - almost like lightly roasted coffee - some funky bitterness. Touch of hops. Pretty good, albeit a little strange.

Clear golden and lightly copper coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bright floral and perfumey hops with a good kick of malt and alcohol, but the hops really are front and centre in a good way! Light-bodied; Deep hop flavour at first that gives way immediately to a cardboardie malt and some light fake sugar flavours with a hint of peaches and pears at the finish. Aftertaste shows only some of the hops, but unfortunately more of a floral and herbal kick than anything else with the plain funky malt and not much else in the supporting cast. Overall, a great smelling beer, but after that, it goes downhill, Not a horrible option to try, but don’t expect too much from this one! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom), DC on 04-April-2014 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 12-July-2014.

10oz goblet at Crios DC. Pours a murky neon orange with some clumpy white head. Nose is heavy on the grapefruit, orange rind, candy, pithy, bright. Flavor has a little too much sweetness, heavy grapefruit rind, orange, tangerine, candy, mild pine, soap. Bitter finish. Good.

More like a Berliner Weisse than a Gose. A little sour with some salt. Pours very cloudy blonde. Not much head or lacing, a lot of yeast. Average carbonation. Tap at Meridian Pint.
