Draft at the brewpub. Poured a dark, slightly murky orange color with a nice lasting white head, good head retention on this cask. Aroma was spice notes, zest and plenty of warm clementines. Flavor was malty, spice, and grapefruit citrus notes. Clementine powers through this, but it’s not as citrus-dominant as I had hoped it could have been.

Draft at the brewery - thanks to my girlfriend. Poured a dark brown color, pretty close to cola color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was nice roasted malts, some sweet caramel. Flavor was nice, roasted, sweet malt notes. Pretty easy to drink, and pretty tasty.

Draft at the brewery - thanks to my girlfriend. Poured a golden copper color with a small white head. Aroma was malts, bready notes. Flavor was some herbal hop notes, some light floral character, malt and yeast. Kind of an earthy finish, unfortunately not as clean as I was hoping it would be. Neither of us were big fans of this one.

Draft at the brewery - thanks to my girlfriend. Poured a smooth black color with a HUGE brown head. Aroma was lots of roasted malts, dark chocolate, some light vanilla notes. Dried fruits, roasted malts, bitter chocolate and malt. A touch earthy. Pretty enjoyable, easy to drink, especially on a cold day.

Can, thanks to nimbleprop. Very pure golden pour with a finger of eggshell head. Bubbly and fizzy. Resin and florals make up the brunt of the nose and a light bready malt rounds it out. Tastes of dirty florals, some herbals, bready malt, and noticeable yeast. A light flaw in the finish, best described as pvc plastic. Lingering florals do a decent job of muting this, but it’s still there. Neat, clean looking can though.

750ml bottle pours a hazy brown with some bright, white, fluffy head. Nose is dusty, tangerine, grapefruit, a little dried malt, some honey. Flavor is malty, orange, honey, some pine, lemon lime soda, a little white pepper. Lightly sweet, mostly dry finish. Very mild for a barleywine. I wonder how it would age.
