Keg at White Lion, Aldershot. This used to be what i drank at college and uni but can't have had it for maybe 17 years. Caramel sweet malty aroma. Light chestnut. Thick creamy head. Sweet with a light bitterness that gets more noticable intonthe finish. Slightly chemical. Light boied. Thin. Soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. A macro bitter. Drinkable. Preferable to lager. Not too sweet.

500 ml can, I think it was from Seiyu. Pours clear light amber, some foam that even leaves lacings. Nose has corn, wet cardboard, stuffy biscuits. Tastes sweet, bitterness very light, average carbonation, biscuity and watery. No real aftertaste, maybe just a bit of plasticky feel lingering. Not really pleasant to drink, too characterless.

Keg pint at the Station Pub, Castleford. Golden colour, creamy white head. Weak aroma, but not offensive. Smooth mouthfeel. Refreshing clean flavour, fairly dry, but the hops are too moderate. Still not nearly as bad as I feared.

Keg @ The Bird in Hand, Shrewsbury. Pours a slowly-clearing amber, creamy white topping. Aroma of light caramel. Taste is frothy metallic sweet caramel. Thin, smooth, very lightly sweet. It’s not bad per se, just not very good.
