Cask @ the Rocket, Kings Cross, medium sample. Almost clear yellow color, short frothy head. Aroma was a bit dusty, some butter, bit flowery hop. Soft bitterness. Should have gone for a decent beer instead of a new tick.

Cask @ Duke Of Wellington, Halifax. Cloudy amber. High bitterness ale, that smells, and to an extent tastes like garlic, which is a new flavour for me. It’s not good though, clearly not well kept, but clearly not a great brew at the same time. Why SKY whom constantly tell us to ’Believe In Better’ want to associate themselves with this low grade brew is beyond me. Couldn’t finish it, which is rare for me.

Bottle @ Bi Village, Fazana, Croatia. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, herbs, grass. Flavor is light sweet, faint bitterness, malt, caramel, herbs, little wood, grass. Medium body, average carbonation. 080816

Jun. ’16. A 0.5 l bottle that poured a clear golden body with a medium sized head. A bit of caramel, bread and some herbal aroma. Fine bitter roasted flavor, bread, roasted caramel and apple/other fruity with vague herbal hop notes, too. Medium body. Finished long, bitter herbal and papery. Although rater simple, it’s a decent bitter with straightforward bitterness.

Pivo brončane boje, sa gustom prljavo bijelom pjenom. Dosta karbonizirana pa podriguješ ko lud. Slabi miris borovine. Iako piše na etiketi nešto i IPAi ovo je tipični primjerak engleskog bittera sa gorkim finishom u okusu.

Bottle from B&M, Halifax. Orange-pink coloured cider. It’s fairly crisp tasting, and quite sweet, with the apricot dominating this aspect.
