On tap at a pub in Woolaston, 21/11/2015.Dark brown with a thin, beige, head. Very easy drinking mild, with a touch of chocolate and toasted malt. Watery in character and rather dull all round.

Tap. Pours crystal clear golden, large white creamy head, nice lacing. Aroma is grain and grass, flavor about the same, light sweet, light bitter. Light body. No real off tastes.

Golden color with a creamy white head. Looks allright. Quite malt dominated beer. Unfortunaltely a very weak flavor. Waterish actually. Would have expected more from a 4,7% beer. Nothing I will recommend.

Cask @ Rock & Fountain, Shrewsbury. Pours dark brown with creamy off-white head. Nutty, vague malts in the aroma. Taste is harmless enough, just a bit dull and nondeScript. This was consumed after an evening of flavoursome high-ABV Siren beers at a tap takeover so that may have influenced things somewhat.

Can. 3 months out of date, that I found. Classy, I know. And I have to say, I’ve had worse. But not by much. Actually, I found 2. And drank them both, which probably says more about me than the beer.

Can. Good foam. Aroma: caramel, a little malty. Taste: velvety, caramel and fruits, a bit of hop bitterness, moderately watery.

Bottle, purchased and consumed in Serbia. Pours a semi clear amber colour, kind of nut skin very nice. Great tick off-white head. Nose: a bit nutty, roasted malt beans, dusty, just a hint of dust, not that much of hops but some grassy floral here and there. Quite clean and nice. Mouth: soft carbonation, nutty full bodied, a very peppery and distinctively herbal (almost chicory) elegant finish which stays in the palate after. Quite tasty, really.

Whee, another "classic" I finally get to try. At the Ožujsko Bar in Tkalčićeva street, Zagreb. Darker amber body, misty with a lasting head. Vaguely dusty sweetish aroma, dried apricots, very light cardboard. Simple taste, peachy, malty, with a short stab of herbal hoppy bitterness. Solid body. Yeah, drinkable, will get a chuckle for being called an IPA by today’s standards, but not something I’ll likely be returning to much.

300ml bottle from Tesco - Bright golden looking body, fine fizzy lines, decent white head. Nose is shandy. Lemonade, bit of beeriness at the back end. Taste lime hits you up front, masking anything of character. Slightly stale and watery at the back end. Tasted in the name of science.
